In a heartwarming testament to the strength of community bonds, the dedicated volunteers of Local 66’s SMART Army have joined forces to create a life-changing impact for a deserving family. Collaborating closely with Habitat for Humanity, these skilled volunteers are pooling their time, expertise, and unwavering determination to construct a brand-new home that offers both essential shelter and a glimmer of hope for those facing adversity.

The initiative has garnered widespread support, with key players contributing their resources and skills. Gensco Inc. generously provided crucial materials, while UMC stepped in with vital tools and hardware. Notably, Josh Carter, owner/ member of Epic Air, played a pivotal role by installing the mini-split system, a testament to the collaborative nature of the project.

The concerted efforts of Lacey Neubauer, Mike McCracken, Bryan Irey, and Bryan Johnson in handling the intricate task of ducting installation further exemplify the shared commitment to this transformative endeavor. As this compassionate alliance of individuals and partners works hand in hand, a new home is taking shape – one that symbolizes resilience, unity, and the potential for positive change within the community.
